Wilton Manors, FL – April 2, 2025 – Marketing Bear, an advertising agency that offers national advertising expertise to local businesses and organizations at an affordable cost, is proud to announce its sponsorship of the Silver Strokers, a Legends C division adult softball team in the South Florida Amateur Athletic Association (SFAAA). This sponsorship marks a significant commitment to supporting the local LGBT+ community and fostering athletic excellence.
The Silver Strokers, a newly formed team for the spring 2025 season, is comprised of six players from the 2024 World Series Legends D championship Silverhawks. Due to their championship victory, the team has moved up to the Legends C division in accordance with North American Gay Amateur Athletic Alliance (NAGAA) rules. The Silver Strokers have earned an automatic bid to the 2025 World Series, scheduled to be held in Houston later this year.
Ed Kitsos, owner of Marketing Bear and infielder on the Silver Strokers, expressed his enthusiasm for the upcoming season. “I are looking forward to the challenge of competing in a higher division and are excited to share this experience with many of my past teammates,” said Kitsos.
The SFAAA softball league, which has been a pillar of the LGBT+ community for over 30 years, provides a safe and inclusive space for athletes. With over 30 teams and 400 members, it stands as one of the most successful LGBT+ softball leagues in the country.
